I’d say this is from the “home state” perspective.
But ya’ll are getting over run with Yankees. Particularly, Bama, Auburn, Clemson and Tennessee.
And not classless low life Yankees. Although there are definite cultural differences between the Yankees and the “homies”, the Yankees aren’t quiet, poor nor unattractive.
Point is, the Yankees are changing the ranking dynamics.
There’s two rankings - in-state and out of area.
And given that “out-of-area” is getting more influential at these schools, it isn’t the same as it used to be. \n\n\n\n\n
