What's really the difference between DZ and AOPi
by: tell meI see that DZ is usually ranked mid or lower mid and AOPi is usually ranked below DZ. During rush I really saw no difference in these two houses. Can someone tell me why one is considered better?

Honestly? Historically NR houses have been considered lower tier, right? Well that leads people to just lump them all together at the bottom under the OR houses. DZ in my opinion should be up higher than AOII historically, although 2024 NM classes are making me think twice about that! AOII got some real catches.

Aopi used to be solid mid at Bama when my sister went to school, acc to her they kind of slid down for a while bc they were one of the last to build their new house. They did well last year and better this year - surprisingly so. Unsure if it’s enough for them to move up.
