You had 443 members at the end of fall semester. Then you added 16 new cob members in spring (more cobs than any house) and now you only have 414? Your 16 new cob members have a gpa of 2.35? SERIOUSLY? That means 45 dropped after fall and your 16 spring cobs had an AVERAGE gpa of 2.35?

Oh I see well fall 2022 was bad for aphi they did have to fake the largest mc - 204 which is crazy when the others were say average 139 and their gpa was 2.97 that semester. As said before their mc 21 and mc 22 I think was really the problem. But still doesn’t stop all the drops. As it happened again and they were eligible for cob and took the largest amount at 16 .

That was my mc year. That fall was not a good one for aphi . People who actually go here know the deeper story

What I have noticed is that this site is on Alabama time. Doesn't account for what time people are commenting from other time zones.

Unless the poster is in Europe all those times overnight Alabama time is bizarre. So a European has a problem with some sorority at Alabama? I think not.
Now accusing APhi of faking a new member class in 22? Really - get help.
If they dropped you a few years ago, it is ok. Your life will be fine. No one needs a sorority to have a happy life. Forget about it. Based on your comments you recently graduated or are a senior. Look to the future. You have your entire life ahead of you. Greek life in college will become a small blip in your life journey.
Today is a new day. A new chance for possibilities. Get outside. Work on your resume. All best wishes to you!

why does anyone care when someone wrote something? Maybe people get on when bored or can't sleep who knows not for us to actually know i guess. All i know is that i love coming on here to see people mad and angry lol. it's a bully mentality on here. I feel like people get unified over their dislike of this sorority. kind of sad and middle school

Not really. Most girls that end up in aphi have been cut from most houses. Many are cut for grades and then the rest wanted zta but didn't get them.

I know pnms that picked aphi over zeta. Just look at the fall aphi new member class. Many made that choice. You can see for yourselves.

First what do you mean you can "see" for yourselves? It doesn't work like that and also if you have been on both sides of rush you know that the pnm has very little real say in the matter. Being on the other side I know for a fact that some girls wanted zta and ended up in aphi. That's just how it is.

The pnms have a lot of influence on pref night. If you have been on the other side then you know that most pnms get their choice after pref.

If that was true there would be no tears on bid day. Once you get to pref you have a good chance, but it isn't 100%. I have known girls that didn't go to the house after they received their bid and said they were sick. Girls who cried through the first few hours, etc. Getting to pref is tough and there is disappointment especially if you were dirty rushed. I also know girls in aphi that were disappointed with their house and ended up dropping after the fall semester. I wouldn't put zta and aphi together though as zta definitely looks for a more well rounded girl.

I said most...not 100% but most do get their 1st choice. It is just amazing how much you know about one particular house that is not your own. You personally know aphis who dropped? Is this your vendetta/revenge then?
You are putting a lot of effort to get pnms not to select aphi. What are you? A stalker? Do you stalk them in person? You know that is illegal, right?
fyi - Every single house has at least one new member who decides after bid day that the house is not right for them and they drop. Keep up this targeting of aphi and people will wonder why you are spending so much time on a house you say is not competition.

I think we all know girls in every sorority that dropped for one reason or another or went early alum. It happens . I think people just know aphi more because of the larger numbers that’s really it.

i agree that girls do drop for a variety of reasons. but i also think when it is such a large number of girls it makes you wonder why it is happening. still if it doesn't bother APhi why should we be bothered by it?

Everyone knows Aphi takes a lot of "influencers" which they encourage. They basically have full time jobs in addition to attending university. Some go early alum in their senior year to get an advance on their careers. Add the large number of oos state that Aphi takes and there you have the numbers.
Out-of-state tuition is very expensive and Alabama is one of the few states where students can not be considered in-state for tuition after living there for a year. This means all four years are very expensive. Aphi lost an Alabama cheerleader to her home state of Georgia when she transferred to UGA, for example.
So continue to rake them over the coals. They are a big national who takes the influencer membership losses to promote women early in their careers.
Pnms are reading this site and when this type of thread is started they all see it. They also follow the Alabama Aphi influencers so they know what is going on.

Everyone looks for something different in a house. I do feel badly for any of the smart girls in aphi because I wouldn't want to be stereotyped but unfortunately it's sorority life in Alabama. After high school being the not smart, party house isn't a flex. And by the time you are a senior you see how douchy some of the boys they hang with are.

You’re literally just repeating yourselves over and over but in different ways, which is what they clearly meant. We get it, but you’re just annoying at this point. The topic of Alpha Phi is so beyond exhausted and I don’t even care for the house. The dead horse was beaten so badly last year that I actually found myself rooting for them.
