If I don’t join a sorority will I make friends?

I’m gonna transfer but I’m not sure if sorority life is for me. Is it hard to connect without it? What about sorority girls is it possible to be friends if I’m not in one?

If you don't join a sorority yes, you will have friends and honestly you may stay out of a lot of drama (look at this site for example - sororities bash each other all the time on here and it has nothing to do with actual girls), you will save tons of money, sorority events are so boring (go to fraternity date parties and formals - so much fun). After seeing this site and reading the comments I'm actually embarrassed to be associated with groups that put each other down.

Of course you will makes friends! You can and will have friends in sororities too. Everyone has a difference experience both when they accept a bid or when choosing not to be in Greek Life. You will survive and have fun regardless. Be open to enjoy Bama!
