Legacy status and different chapters
by: pnmI’m curious if being a legacy means more in certain houses than others? I know sororities will say it doesn’t mean anything any more but do some sororities at least look twice at a legacy? Does it help more in some houses than others?

There are too many legacies these days for it to be meaningful. A chapter legacy might get a second look, especially if their legacy relation has been active with the chapter in some capacity as an alum. Personal connections are far more valuable, but even a sitting sister situation isn't always a slam dunk.
The smartest thing to do is to let your legacy house know you are coming through rush (not the other houses) and be sure to get that rec as well. Those things never hurt, they show a special interest in that house, and you just never know.
