is it better to wait or rush in spring

I decided to skip fraternity rush for the fall because I am OOS and wanted to get used to school. Can't decide if I should rush in Jan for spring semester or wait until fall rush as a soph and try to visit houses in the spring. any advice appreciated

Most of the top fraternities do not do a Spring rush, you will have to wait until Summer to pledge a top house for the Fall.

Unless you have a bid in your hand it’s probably too late atp to rush one of the like 2-3 fraternities worth joining that spring rush. Wait until fall and focus on making connections w actives/seeing where you’d think you’d fit
