You are rushing every sorority. Maybe express that you are interested and ask some solid questions. They will determine if you are genuine and if you are interested.

You tell them that privately if you know the active. It's not something you just mention to anybody you just met, whether active or pnm. During the first rounds of rush it's not about how bad you want a sorority, it's about how bad they want you. At pref it is actually important to tell a sorority how you feel.
