What should i be doing to maximize my chances of getting a bid? what are some good volunteer work or things that look good

If you don't have any real interests or passion to do a little bit of good and just want something for your IG and to fill up your resume then your insincerity will shine through and you'll land with the girls like yourself.

insincerity? she's a senior in high school, is she supposed to have won a gold medal in the olympics to do better in rush?

the true answer is, just continue with any volunteering/extracurricular activities you are doing now, and get your GPA as high as possible. that's it! while having a good resume is helpful, this will really only matter for Convocation Round (which is usually just GPA cuts). let the girls get to know YOU! they are looking for friends, and your resume will reflect what you have done so far. good luck!
