1. recruitment is not a level playing field for pnms no matter what anyone tells a future pnm
2. parents and actives are involved in sketch activities -they have been in the past and will continue to be
3. pnms without connections have to be more open-minded when it comes to finding a home on bid day
4. it's easy for an active to say recruitment is fair or to join where a pnm is wanted or none at all. (Did the active have connections? Did the active have a fair chance at membership with all the groups?) No active should ever say the process is completely fair because it is not. A pnm ends up where they end up after they funnel through the takeaways above.

I never really thought about it before, but you bring up a good point. I always see it as one large funnel, but someone may say there are two.
