needs advice for pre rushhh
by: hiiiiihey yall just committed to bama!! just wondering what i should know for social media and everything? what are houses looking to see from pnms via social media and such? thank you! pls leave any and all advice! not trying to read rankings or anything just want advice!

Good advice above, also make sure you look at tags and remove anything questionable there too. Try to post things over this year that show you with other people out doing things, being social and having fun. Try not to post much where it’s just you by yourself trying to look hot, especially not bikini shots or anything like that. You want to be seen as fun, social, someone who has friends and a sense of style. Not someone trying too hard to get attention.

Put what you see the other girls doing. I think it’s when you start? Make it public so all the houses can find you.

Social media makes very little difference, unless there is something glaringly wrong. Best thing you can do is to make sure your graduating GPA is at least 3.5. Even if half the chapter follows you, lots of houses will cut you without ever meeting you due to a low GPA.

does it matter at all if you are legacy but your mom went to school in the North? i know it doesnt mean you will get a bid, but do any of the sororities at Bama look at that at all? i would love to have a shot at my mom's sorority but it is one that GR claims is hard to get a bid. my gpa is over 4.0

Legacy doesn't help much especially if its not from UA.... many UA legacies get dropped but there is a slightly better chance you'd be kept.
