Will a lot of houses drop you if you have below a 3.5?

Most houses state their requirement is a 3.5 but there are definitely exceptions. Some will allow lower GPAs, but most houses weed out most girls after ice water tea rounds based on grades alone.

No houses require a 3.5 don't listen to those people. All houses except for 3 require a 3.0 to pledge HOWEVER some houses will favor girls who have higher gpas. A girl they like with a 3.2 will always beat a homely quiet girl with a 4.0

3.5 is a pretty high GPA for Alabama

Dont worry Alabama has a huge Greek system and every house has great time in it. If you get overlooked because of grades consider it a blessing. Many of the girls in those above houses are not happy and can't be themselves. If you have a 3.5 you are well above the Alabama average and prove you can do well in college. Too many over achieves in one house creates cattiness. Be yourself and enjoy the process don't get stuck on a label. You will have fun no matter where you go.
