Do the house moms have to be members of the house to be a house mom?
I was in a house at Alabama, but if I can only do it for my sorority that really limits my chances!

A house mother is just a paid employee of the sorority's house corporation. You don't have to have been a member but you do have to be qualified. I don't think anyone your age who would actually use greekrank for a question like this is qualified.

I was in a house there in the 1980s so forgive me me for not knowing what the rules are 40 years later.
When I was there our house mother was an alumna of our sorority, but at a different school. She never attended our chapter meetings or initiation, so it made me wonder if really matters what sorority they were in.
