Top tier is Old Row:
Alpha Chi, Alpha Gam, Chi O, KD, Kappa, Phi Mu, Tri Delt.
Middle tier is where the New Row houses come in:
Zeta, Pi Phi, ADPi, DZ
Bottom tier is:
Theta, DG, Sigma Kappa, Gamma Phi, AOPi, Alpha Phi
But Gamma Phi and Alpha Phi could be considered bottom of middle tier.

I feel like AOPi and Delta Gamma are starting to be viewed as mid tier more than lower tier here. They both have slightly different vibes than each other- AOPi is a little more statusy feel and DG is just very authentic sisterhood feel. But both had good Rush last year. I know people in both and they’re happy.

Delta Gamma is loved by certain pnms- one thing you should know about them is they are the most reasonable chapter at Bama for dues. They are the lowest cost by far- and a great sisterhood. So if you don’t want to pay $9,000 a year for sorority dues- they’re definitely worth checking out. The girls in this house are also happy. No drama.

Honestly the only really bottom houses are SK and Theta. And Theta had one of their best pledge classes ever this past year.
There are houses with really bad reputations: ZTA, APhi and GPB. Other than those three all the other houses Ofer a great sorority experience!

But I wouldn't consider Theta bottom anymore. Their last 3 NMC's have been good.

Nah, Theta isn't bottom anymore. A lot of PNMs wanted Theta over other NR houses
Most popular NR houses are Zeta and PiPhi.
Within the NR houses, if you are a social girl, you want Aphi, Gphi, DZ, Theta.
If you are a girl that is more focused on academics, you want DG and Aopi. DG hasn't done great in recruitment for the last 3 years.

Everyone I know that went to Theta during rush- it was just very meh. People say they’re rising but sorry just don’t see it. Honestly think the SK girls I know on campus are way nicer just as cute and less full of themselves. To me both chapters about the same. Sorry.

Alpha Gam is top tier, top grades, OR, and overall a nice group of girls. Last year’s rush showed that yet again.
Literally every sorority’s senior class has drama. LN just posted on YouTube that she had only 2 friends in Pi Phi.

Agree. AGD only attract girls that are very academic driven and not looking for active social calendars. They do not party and don't want girls that do. They are also very religious and host Bible studies and other other sisterhood events that many PNMs won't be interested in.

AGD will continue to pledge girls that are smart, classy, involved, and come from good families.
Zeta will continue to pledge girls that are overly spray tanned, barely graduated high school and have no motivation for academic achievement.
One of these houses is top tier and one is not. I’ll let you guess which is which.

Comparing AGD and ZTA is crazy. They are polar opposites and would never want the same girls.
AGD is looking for smart, quiet, follow all the rules, religious girls that don't really drink or do anything scandalous. Fraternities are not a fan.
ZTA is looking for hot, fun, party girls that love ranks and clout chasing. They are wild. Fraternities love them.
Since there are over 2,500 PNM's, each of these houses will find the girls that fit their brand.

Interesting that the two poorest, least educated states in the country have the strongest greek systems. Mississippi and Alabama want to keep their podunk inbreed sisterhood. The best/coolest sororities actually get the Cali, Texas, East Coast, metropolitan girls. These are the true sophisticated, stylish and attractive groups. Good to see most embracing the bigger picture and getting the stronger girls.
