I'm not bashing COB at all as its a necessary part of the system of keeping houses filled. Zero share is COB or snaps at all.

MY ISSUE is that we still have way too many people dropping out at various stages of being in the house AND way too many people drop out of recruitment. Retention is a huge issue IMO and I wish people were more honest about it. Something is going on to discourage sisterhood or having houses be a place that people want to stay with for 4 years. Its not just a money thing but that could be part of it. Cliques and bullying etc. need to be looked at too I think.

Retention averages 5-6% around from Bid Day to end of year. Most lose numbers due to graduating mid year, transferring or financial reasons. There are some houses with higher numbers, but only a handful.

@sure, I think you have your numbers mixed up. 5% to 6% retention would mean that chapters only retain 5% of their members and lose 95% of them, etc.
