fraternity members

Well think about it. What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of "frat?" Animal House? A bunch of stupid drunk guys that don't know how to respect their elders? Now what's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of "fraternity?" Brotherhood? Values? Class? Status? Being in a fraternity is an honor and a privilege. You get chosen to be a brother of that fraternity's chapter. That's not something to be taken lightly and flippantly. So by calling a fraternity a "frat," that's basically telling them you're an ignorant little boy just begging to get hazed.

It just sounds bad, or like a northerner/West Coast/Pike thing to say.
Saying fraternity is more proper and respectful. My opinion what's yours. No, nevermind I don't really care.
