FRATERNITY STEREOTYPES 2022

This is a general overview. If your fraternity isn’t on here, they aren’t relevant.
If you’re from the south: DKE, SNU, Phi Gam, SAE, KA
If you’re from the north: Pike, Chi Phi, Beta, Phi Psi
If you’re academically-focused: ATO, SigEp
If you’re a partier: Phi Delt, Pi Kapp, Pike, DTD, Delta Chi
If you’re more into date-events: Pi Kapp, Theta Chi, ATO, Sigma Chi
If you’re from the Midwest: Kappa Sigma, Sigma Chi, DTD, SigEp
This is in no way comprehensive. Example: Sigma Chi is NOT a midwestern fraternity, but compared to DKE or SNU, are much more likely to accept someone from the Midwest. This list is meant for incoming freshman to get an idea of which fraternities to look at.

I completely forgot to put Phi Delt in the south category - as for ATO I agree as well honestly. Appreciate this comment!

Phi Delt is your best (and really only) bet for Old Row bet if you’re from oos or outside the South.

@Phi agreed, I’m from Ohio and I’m a phi… other old row fraternities likely wouldn’t take me unless I was legacy or something
