Please disregard the poster above. Not only are the comments rude and hateful, but they are also mostly untrue. If you really want to know what every group is like, stay off of this page and find out for yourself. Every sorority at UA is worth being in.

There are beautiful, smart, classy, involved girls in EVERY SORORITY. There's no way to pin point exactly what the personality of each sorority is when there are 400 girls in each house.

These stereotypes are at least a generation old. They bear on resemblance to the way things are today. I hope you will meet people and decide for yourself instead of visiting an anonymous gossip website.

Alabama is the best school in the entire world and we have the best Greek system in the entire world. If you look for good, you'll find good in a house. If you look for bad, you'll find bad in a house. Of course every girl is going to think her house is the best (because it is the best for her) and if she doesn't then I feel sorry for her. Sometimes the enthusiasm that some girls have for their own house turn into catty words about another house or over-stepping boundaries.

So guess what- ALL SORORITIES ARE GREAT. You need to find the fit for you. With 300+ girls in each house there are going to be girls that party, girls that are involved in leadership positions on campus, girls that love philanthropy and girls that are catty in every house. Figure it out for yourself and stay off of stupid gossip websites.
