AXO: coming from someone who isn't in this house, I genuinely think they're the best sorority on campus. They have a really even mix of crazy, fun, pretty part girls and smarter, religious girls. Good social media and best retention. Never met an AXO that I didn't like. Majority are Southern bc old row.
ADPI: I'd say most I know are artistic and smart, but I do know many are party girls, but I haven't met any personally. Definitely don't drop PNMs over looks, and are really laid back and nice. Lots of midwest girls. Good social media, but not active enough on it.
ALPHA GAM: Majority are religious and smart with the best grades on campus, but you do have a sprinkle of wild girls. I've never met one that wasn't extremely kind. Lots of pageant girls. Good social media, graphics are great but a touch overexposed on the filter. Majority are Southern bc old row. Lowkey really republican. If you don’t have a bible quote in your bio, you won’t go alpha gam.
AOPI: I'd say the new PC's these past three years are different than the older ones. More fun, chill, prettier (still not the prettiest, but def have more in the past) girls, and moving away from the uptight religious girls. I’d even say they recruited a lot more edgy girls this year. Like adpi, don't judge for physical appearance. I've met a few pretty crazy ones. Not a lot of drama. Social media is definitely improving and they're way more active in recruitment than the past few years. New house has helped them a lot. Definitely coming up.
APHI: I've only met girls I love or girls I hate. No in between. COBs and Fall Rush girls are polar opposites. Scandal a few years ago doesn't help them during recruitment, but a large number of girls don't seem to mind. A LOT of gorgeous girls, but also a fair number of girls who aren't 10/10s. Grades aren't good, but still they do well during rush and get a lot of top PNMs. Half are super stuck up and think they're better than you bc of their house, and the other half are sweet as a peach. Great instagram feed on top of being the most followed. Get a lot of "famous" girls.
CHI O: I really like chi o's. A lot of them are “horse girls” which is cool, and they have really good grades. Very nice girls, and not a ton of partiers in the house. Really good diversity. They're really active on instagram, and have the best feed in my opinion. If you want to have a FUN sisterhood, rush chi o. Don't really judge for physical appearance. Mostly Southern bc old row.
TRI DELT: Don't know many, but the ones i know are super nice. HUGE mixture of girls; some are super uptight but nice girls on the outside, others are super wild. Insta feed is great. I know when I went through rush a ton of girls really wanted them. Really good grades, and probably the most involved in their philanthropy. Mostly southern bc old row but slowly getting a lot more midwestern and northern girls.
DG: Super cool girls. Mostly from Cali or the western area, but some midwest. Def don't judge for physical appearance. Have a lot of diversity in their house. Really nice, and have the most fun philanthropy event of the year. A lot are involved on campus, and they seem well-liked w/o a ton of drama. Good instagram feed, although I hated the exec board theme a few months ago.

DZ: Another house I think is really improving. LOVE their insta. They COB so their retention isn't great, but it's seeming to get better. A lot of fun girls, and they snagged a few "famous" girls these past few years. Definitely getting more fun and prettier with each pc, and this past year they really finessed a good pc. Don't judge for physical appearance. Hardcore on the come up.
GPHI: Definitely way different between their older pc's and the past three years. See that they're aiming to become more of a looks house, and they snagged a few "famous" pnms these past two years. Grades are low though and really need work. 1/2 of the prettiest houses (like the literal sorority house) in my opinion. A lot of girls were surprised by how much they liked them when I went through rush. LOVE their instagram, think it's one of the best ones, but they need to be more active. Definitely a lot more party girls. Mostly New Jersey girls.
THETA: Kinda an odd ball, as you see such a wild mix of girls. Definitely don't judge for physical appearance. Instagram is meh - not a fan of the dark filter, it doesn’t read “sorority” to me. I could see them improving in the next few years, and the new house might help. Really nice girls and they definitely go out a lot bc I've met a ton, but I never see them at date parties. Guys aren’t singing them praises, but they’re sweet. Trapped a good pc this year.
KD: Either extremely wild or not at all, no in between. They're trying with the insta, but the 2014 filter and green theme is doing nothing, but they're definitely active. I think their recruitment this past year was their worst in awhile, and changing the instagram could really help that because PNMs first impression of a house is online. Worst conversation there when I rushed, as soon as I said I wasn't from the South it was like talking to a brick wall. Thus, mostly Southern bc old row (with a sprinkle of New Jersey girls). Old row frats love these girls, and the ones I know are all super nice but super wild. RICH GIRLS. All in all, this isn’t the 80s so drop the southern superiority complex (and chill with the spray tan).
KKG: Really lowkey and chill, and I love every girl there I've met. SOOOO fun but also the best to just hang out with for a girls night bc they're so laidback. I think it's odd they don't put their letters in their insta bios, and like KD i think they need to ditch the 2014 filter and make some improvements on social media, but they're also really active and have an AWESOME recruitment. Have a great retention rate. Mostly southern bc old row. (cont.)

Loved the vibes post instead of the stereotypical ranking and the only thing i’d disagree with is if you want a fun house rush chi o. I’ve noticed that chi o’s never really hang out with other chi o’s so i’m not really sure they have a fun sisterhood but i could definitely be wrong since I never rushed there.

Whoever wrote this either was dropped or their daughter was dropped by Zeta. Old Row biddies make me laugh and are really super out of touch with campus reality. Your comments about SK and swaps is not ture. Also the fact that you said “Theta trapped a good PC “ says a lot about who and what you are.

SDT: Stereotypical struggling bottom house. Basically where you go when you can't get a bid anywhere else but you want to be able to say you're in a sorority. Usually does informal exclusively because they don't have what it takes to do formal, as demonstrated by the five girls they got last fall. Utterly irrelevant socially. Hovering around 35-40 members total. Only generous alumnae support has kept them from losing their charter, because their national low-key considers them dead weight and an embarrassment.

hey OP, aopi’s description is way more detailed than the other srats. talks about the past 3 pc’s being different and ~prettier~ tho most houses wouldn’t be able to tell the difference, especially bc aopi is more forgettable no offense. also talks abt how they’ve started recruiting “edgier” girls — none of the other descriptions talk abt a change in personalities recruited, so it seems like something an in house sister would know. aopi’s description actually “no drama, know some crazy girls, new house helping them a lot, improving a lot, way more active in recruitment, great social media” all sound like an in house sister trying to make aopi seem ~wilder/cooler~ than they’re portrayed on here with all these details.

The dz and gphi and pi phi descriptions are just as detailed and talk about the past few PCs too. The longest one is kd but I doubt it was written by a kd.

There was a whole thread about aopi getting edgier girls the other day, I don’t really think it’s like “secret insider knowledge”. I also definitely don’t think “crazy” was meant as a compliment lol.

PHI MU: Another one of the best houses on campus. Really competitive to get into bc so many girls want them back during recruitment. They have a lot of diversity, and an awesome insta feed on top of a great following. Really pretty girls, and tons of them are pageant girls. I've met some who are super nice and some who are super stuck up, so ig it's a fifty fifty chance. Never see them out at parties or bars. Mostly southern bc old row. The other 1/2 of prettiest houses on campus (I mean the literal house). Run an awesome recruitment.
PI PHI: LOVE pi phis. Some think they're all that bc there's a ton of "famous" girls in their house, but outside those few I adore these girls. An AWESOME insta feed and really fun recruitment. I think they're moving away from their artsy and edgy stereotype though, and trying to recruit more party pretty girls. Really involved on campus, and definitely have improved a ton since they got their new house. Super pretty. Personally, I think they’re heavily slept on and better than Zeta and APhi.
SK: It's kinda hard to judge them because they are so new on campus, but they are the nicest girls I know. They're really trying hard to improve which is awesome. Lots of diversity. Definitely don't judge for physical appearance. I think once they get a new house in a few years, they'll have a much easier time recruiting girls bc they are so genuine. See them out a lot, but they don't have a lot of swaps bc not many want to swap w them. Give this house five years and they'll really improve. Fix the insta feed tho, the current filter and that pink one before it were NOT it.
ZETA: Last but not least, Zeta. Great insta feed and following, and super active in pnms comments. Probably the most wanted house during rush, and they have a great recruitment. Retention is meh, but not bad at all. Gorgeous girls and all the guys love them. Definitely have to look a certain way to fit in here, but if you do that's awesome. Not the nicest girls I've ever met tbh, but a couple are sweethearts. See them out a ton and they're the life of the party, superrrrr outgoing girls when they want to be. Not from a particular place, lots of midwest, California, New York, and Florida girls. Bad grades, and definitely been very into tokenism lately but overall they’re still a great house.
Overall, every house house is right for someone, you just have to find your fit. :)
