Old Row as out of state

Hello!! I really want to get a bid from an academically competitive house (AG, XO, AXO). I am involved in a lot of honor societies/clubs/have a lot of leadership positions and my UW GPA is 3.7 (not perfect but still in the range I think). I really want to be around a group of academically motivated people. One of the major reasons I want to join a sorority. What steps can I take to get a bid to one of these houses as an OOS pnm with no legacy? Thanks

Are u OOR? Old row tend to take girls from the south

in any house you can find academically motivated, but to be blunt if you’re OOR it won’t be the easiest

If your from the south then it’ll be easier for you to get a bid from old row but if your OOR then good luck Charlie, you might as well go New Row

Idk what these people in the comments are talking about. I’ve met girls in old row sororities who are far out of region. (NE, Cali) If you’re from Texas you’re fine as long as you look good and are personable. Connections is what rlly helps the most though.
