2021 official sorority ranks

all the aoii that have been following me and reaching out are so sweet! I'm obviously going to wait until rush to get a good feel but aoii is definitely making a good impression on me so far

My roommate is a freshman Zeta and they literally made this post and sent it in their PC group chat to like the post. Really girls? Zeta is not a top house if you are having to COB...they only had 300 members before COB this semester.

Actually I made it and I’m not a zeta but nice try. 😉 don’t know why everyone gets so upset to see Zeta listed high. They are very strong and like or not PNMs want them.

I think that comment was a compliment. She/he was saying that AOPi was an awesome house that didn’t get the attention during rush that it deserves. That’s how I read it.

I mean I would think nationals for every sorority here cares about their Alabama chapter a lot, many are single letter chapters and are their biggest chapters by membership.
I do feel like many sorority nationals don't really care about their about their ranking on Greek rank though. They see stats; so long as a chapter is consistently making quota and is at campus total, raises $ for philanthropy, and has a decent chapter GPA they're satisfied and it's a strong chapter in their eyes. Doesn't matter how people rank them on Greek rank lol

ok haha zeta literally had their cob bid day just a few days ago and posted pics and all the actives were there dressed in pjs.... so keep trying to pull a fast one

Who cares if they are doing COB? Zeta is a predominantly oos house and it’s very expensive to attend Bama if you are oos. I’m sure every house is down a few members with the pandemic. AND, obviously they are proud of their new cob members as they should be. I said kudos to Zeta!

I’m in an OR house and I would say GPB and DZ are much better than APHI and so would everyone else I know.

So if gphi/dz is trying to be a social/looks house like aphi now, and are apparently “better”, why don’t they swap with old row fraternities or upper new row frats? because alpha phi definitely does.

dz literally tried to offer me a snap bid the day of bid day and i declined because i decided greek life wasn’t for me but nice try. they definitely DO offer snap bids you just woukdnt realize

“Way more popular with fraternities”. There are lots of reasons why someone is popular with fraternities and not all of them are good reasons.

I’m in a or sorority but one of my roommates is an aoii and another is a dg. I love them both and I’ve met plenty of their friends in their sorority who have all been extremely nice. It’s frustrating to me because they have both told me dg/aoii are not allowed to post to GR so they can’t artificially inflate their rank by overwhelming GR with rankings/posts that promote their sorority... like some other sororities have. They also can’t defend themselves if someone post something negative about them. I honestly think that’s why they are always posted so low because the ones post the ranks know they won’t come on and correct it (because we all know if you see a comment saying zeta/gphi/dz/etc up a row it’s probably a zeta/gphi/dz/etc commenting) anyone who goes here will tell you that aoii/dg have really genuine sisterhoods and girls, have good gpas, and are involved on campus much more than some of the other sororities ranked higher

It would not surprise me at all if AOII/DG advisors told the girls not to post on here bc rank/status is not the vibe of those houses and self ranking on here all the time is not a cute look, but question tho is... do the girls actually follow that?? Like it's not like they're gonna get caught if they post on here. (But I guess if the new PCs are encouraged by the chapter leadership to not even bother with this site right from the start, I guess girls would follow it.)

It would also explain why AOII alums are notorious for coming on here a lot
