Is greek life here toxic?

I got a really great scholarship for bama and I’m def going, but I cant decide if I want to rush or not. I’m scared I wont fit in but rushing seems to be a big part of bama. Is it worth it to rush?

Greeklife is generally not toxic. Greekrank is extremely toxic.

To me it changes daily. Some days I love my sorority. I love the friends I made. I love eating at the house and sisterhood events. But I hate hate hate the overall drama of the house. It makes me uncomfortable when girls disagree at chapter. I hate the clicks. I hate for date parties I have to think about who used to talk to my date so I don't start trouble at the date party. I hate sorority/fraternity rep talk. Like who we can socialize with and who is just weird or who thinks my sorority is weird. After going through it I definitely would say it is not for everyone.

Depends if you go by just GR no one would ever join. Not everyone is as mean and jealous as they are on here.
