you have a big decision

As I watch the sisterhood videos that some chapters have released online I am seeing a consistent trend that holds to be true in how these houses work. You are seeing the same 20 girls in every single video clip (cough, cough Alpha Gam). PNMs be warned that this is not because they are officers but it is because they have been their "it" girls since the first day they stepped on their lawn. As you decide who you want to pref and hopefully receive a bid from you should think long and hard about what kind of an experience you want out of it. Being in a top house because only the best will do or the best just got better sounds and looks fun but on the inside they already know which girls in your class will be allowed to do what. Over half of you will have some kind of SGA experience, officer, etc. in high school but don't expect that here. Those kinds of houses pick and chose what girls are even ALLOWED to apply. You might think you're a star because your momma has always said you were but unless you were born and raised in Alabama good luck darling. I'm not saying these houses are awful and you shouldn't join if you absolutely know that's your home but just be prepared for where you are going to be on the totem pole.
