Awesome, classy, and very selective house. All the houses at UA are amazing, and posts about houses like this one all over this site are set-ups by trolls for the negative comments they post next.

IF you’re from the South and intend to stay there—sure. But if you live anywhere else in the country, AGD has virtually no presence.

If being involved as an alum or being near other strong chapters is important to you, think other choices.
If you want a pretty good U of Alabama experience with a decently-regarded house, then go AGD.

Just be sure to do your homework and think it over...🤔

No one cares elsewhere in the country what house you were in either. All houses have national orgs and national conventions that old ladies can attend all their lives. The "but XZY is ranked high nationally" plug by old ladies is the dumbest thing ever since there are no national rankings. What matters is the house you belong to at the school you actually attend and how you fit in that house.
