by: CluelessSo if there are 8 parties for sisterhood round do each of the chapters have about 500 girls at this point? If pledge classes are 75-125 girls then 2 pref parties mean there are 200 girls being left on their lists. So are biggest cuts coming? Wondering the chance of getting my top 2 for pref.

Some sororities have more and some have fewer on their lists at this point depending on their typical return rates over the past few years. Your odds as a PNM can't really be calculated like coin-flipping odds, because all PNMs are not the same. You may have stronger or weaker pull for a certain house depending on where you already are on their lists.

This is accurate, it really depends on the house. I’m in a weaker recruiting house and some years we have six or seven pref parties, and houses with better return rates only have three.

I’m hearing if I’ve maximized my options all week and get two pref parties, then I can’t fall through. Is this true?

It depends on what your top 2 are...if your top 2 are the same as everyone else’s then yes. But as we saw on another thread there’s a PNM hoping for DZ and DG and she might just get that!
