Chi O is a top tier house bc they take girls from well connected families
They have some cool girls but also plenty of dull ordinary ones. So many houses like xo recruit based on your “last name”/connections rather than personality.
It’s not just XO that’s like that though, a lot of the “prestigious” chapters have super outdated systems. My house has a reputation of being very christian yet we 100% discriminate based on zip code, family income etc. It’s always felt kind of wrong to me.

GOOD for you! If it feels wrong, it probably IS wrong.
There’s nothing wrong with legacies and connected families, but a mixture of girls strengthens your chapter and gives you all fresh ideas.
Make your voice heard...speak out at meetings. You might be surprised at how many other sisters may feel as you do.
This seems to be a new time with fresh attitudes....people are more open to new ideas!

Ok if you think about it is funny how some of these girls (and alum) claim to be super religious but have no problem RANKING girls based on superficial things like family status and looks. Hmmm would Jesus approve of this lol

Yes, and Chi O is CONTROLLED by their old set-in-their-way alums. Alabama has and IS changing...many more girls from OOS and cities other than the big AL cities.
Eventually when you draw the SAME kind of girls from the SAME towns and the SAME high schools, you become boring and yesterday’s news.
This ISN’T granny’s campus anymore...freshen up or slowly become obsolete and less desirable.
