alpha chi or kappa?

i really like kappa and alpha chi... what do I do??

weigh your options. What do you like about each house? Picture yourself running home on bid day in your mind/ opening your bid. Which do you secretly hope you would be running to/ or have on your bid card?

Also “look around” and see who else is at preference. Many of those will be your pledge sisters who you’ll go through four years with.
Where are you from? Kappa is stronger at many Southern chapters than Alpha Chi, but both are strong nationals from coast-to-coast. Kappa is in the Ivy League and huge in TX. Alpha Chi is big in the Midwest.
Alpha Chi was founded in IN, Kappa in IL.

Also think about the conversation you’ve had and review your notes if you have them. Look at the types of conversations you’ve had at both of them. Were they surface level conversations or did they dig deeper? Just trying to be helpful and show you how I picked between two houses I was torn over!

where are you from?if you are not from the south, alabama specifically, DO NOT go kappa. they will literally pay no attention to you. A few of my friends from tut last year who were out of state that went kappa felt so left out.

All of the above is bs. They are both great houses. AXO is more involved and kappa is more social. That is the main difference but you will find all types of girls in both.

go kappa if you are looking to be more involved socially, but go alpha chi if you want to actually be involved with your philanthropy and sisterhood.
