Because of a family situation and I really didn’t want to. I hope actives know I’m so sad about it and didn’t want to at all it wasn’t because I was being entitled/brat

I promise, when rush comes around next year, the houses won’t even know nor will the remember that you dropped. There is a handful of girls whose entire personality is focused on being in a sorority that took offense to the comments about dropping. I guarantee they’re 1% of the composition of sorority girls on campus. We’re not all that catty and rude and I hope those comments didn’t scare you off completely. As I said to the OP of the original post, if you decide to rush again next year, I hope my house welcomes you with open hands!

Don’t worry about it. If some people are going to view you in a negative light because you dropped for whatever reason you don’t want them as your sisters anyway.
