I don’t mean this to sound harsh, but it would’ve been no different if you were rushing in person. We all went through it (and had it 20x worse - hot, sweaty, passing out, screaming girls, being first out of the house, connecting with someone and then getting dropped) so being virtual isn’t an excuse. These girls know who they want before rush even starts, and if they didn’t know you before, all it takes is 1 minute for them to make up their mind about you.

As a pnm, you don’t get to “drop” houses. That’s not how it works. If that was the case then wayyyy too many girls would go without getting bids, and bad sororities wouldn’t meet their quotas. You rank them and whoever chooses you back, you’ll get on your schedule - regardless if you rank them last or not...

Don’t do COB..... you won’t get the same experience, you’ll feel like an outsider, and the sororities just have to take you bf they are forced to hit their number. I would wait until next year and do rush again. Or go back home and don’t waste your incredible once in a lifetime freshman year on this crap show of a year.

Try COB if you are still interested in joining a sorority. You are not obligated to accept a bid if offered one. If that doesn't work out, for whatever reason, then you can always try again in the spring, or wait until next fall.
