Got dropped from pretty much everywhere

I was dropped from everyone except SDT. Please believe me that it’s not that I don’t consider them a good house I totally do I’m just really really shocked and devastated I was dropped from everything else

It isn’t unreasonable to be surprised that someone gets cut from BOTH of those chapters. Or do you not understand how recruitment works?
Absolutely, those 2 chapters cut girls with garbage grades or bad attitudes or suspicious, however it’s not totally absurd to think they need to have bigger invite lists back due to 1. SK still being new 2. SDT participating in formal recruitment for the first time.
I agree those chapters have a lot to offer! But seriously it’s hard to believe that unless someone had grades in the toilet or was super sketchy that those 2 chapters wouldn’t have had them on their Invite list.
ALSO fwiw, When people say they got cut from “pretty much anybody”, they’re usually not taking those two chapters into account… So I’m just trying to point out the truth that they are omitting and show that they have 2 options left, not 0.

Girl I have a ton of knowledge about recruitment, thank you for inquiring. My point was that a lot of people make them out to be awful houses when in reality SK is newer and expanding and SDT is expanding. The hate they’re receiving is not valid whatsoever. As said on a previous thread, they both have grade, reputation, involvement cuts just like everyone else. They don’t want incidents like DM last year and other standards risks when they’re trying to build their reputation

It's okay to be shocked and confused! But remember all it takes is 1! Give them a chance, see if you have meaningful conversations during sisterhood round. You can stick it out and see if they invite you to pref. Remember you don't have to rush and make a quick decision right now.

The post says “Pretty Much” every house. And SO many Pnms will say they’ve been completely dropped when they really have a few houses they don’t want left. Is it right? No. But is it reality? Yeah.

I literally thought I had great conversations with most of the houses and I got 11 back after first cuts. Obviously something went wrong but I can’t believe it

Probably for grades. My suggestion is to keep going with SDT. They are trying to expand after intentionally being a smaller chapter for years. That would give you more of an opportunity for a leadership position and more integration into the house. If they invited you back, they want you. Make the effort and forget what people say on here. They can offer you a sorority experience. Take it.

This! I think they will probably be growing a ton in the future. I think the new class of PNMs are going to be able to shape the chapter in the direction they want it to go! You could potentially make a bigger impact in this chapter especially right now as they are expanding
