Confused about XO

I like XO but I heard that they don't get initiated until later on in the year. What does that mean? and how does that affect a PNM? Would that mean that you can't participate in any events until the winter? Sorry I don't know much about how this all works! TIA!

My roomie was a XO. It means you get initiated after first semester so you have to make your grades which you should want to do anyway. That’s all it means. FYI; she wasn’t super religious either and loved to go out.

Yes! We should all spread this so XO gets a bad PC. Hahaha!!! I’m kidding, this is not true. XOs go out and have a full calendar of swaps etc (not that any of us will get to do this).. My sister is a Xo at Auburn and this is a National thing.

chi o nationals changed the rule. they will be initiated in october this year

it has been like that in past so this year they changed it to first semester initiation

Not true. Every other house freshmen get to go to bars and out to partys in October. Chi o members have to wait until spring semester.
