Snap bids
by: PnmI only got 3 houses back, is it possible I could get a snap bid later on? I’m just trying to decide if I should drop and try again next year

I’m just thinking about what to do if I do end up getting dropped completely because I know some girls have and I was not expecting this many cuts

I understand! It’s a scary thought but my advice is don’t think about what may happen in the future, focus on this round and this round only. It’s not worth the time and worry you’ll be having when you still have three great houses left on your schedule. Give it your all! Good luck :)

If you are dropped completely dropped from recruitment it is possible, but very unlikely. Snap bids will be from houses that are struggling to meet quota, and are probably one of the 3 houses you still have. My advice would be to stay in recruitment and trust the process because you end up where you belong

If every other house cut you after Open House, you will not be on their list for snap bids should they fail to make quota. Snap bids are unicorn bids - just push that thought out of your mind right this second.
I would stick with the 3 you have and think of them as if they are the only 3 houses on campus. If you get released entirely then you can consider COB or re-rushing next fall. But it does only take 1 sorority to get a bid and there isn’t a bad chapter on campus! We truly do mean that every pnm is lucky to get a bid!

I know I think I will stick it out to be honest I’m just asking because I’m worried I’ll end up with none. Cuts were way way more than I expected
