Discouraged PNMs, please read

Seeing a lot of disappointed girls in the comments here and I feel you so hard, rush is so emotionally exhausting and up and down. There is something I would like to tell you all though:

Rush is only 1/1000th of your sorority experience. I know it doesn't feel like it right now, but look at the whole timeline of your college experience. Rush is only one tiny fraction of this!

If at any point this week you are feeling sad because you aren't having the "I just KNEW it was the place for me" feeling for a house that so many girls talk about, don't get discouraged by this!!! A LOT of girls don't actually have this miracle feeling during rush actives always talk about when they go into a specific chapter. And a lot of them who say they had that feeling are exaggerating.

Here's my point: that "moment" when you realize the house that's for you does NOT have to come this week. It could come after you join the house and get to know the girls better. This week is not the end all be all, again it's just 1 week of your whole sorority experience. There will be many more opportunities to fall in love with your house after rush :)
