Since the first round is structured differently and there is no interaction do you guys think the first round of cuts is already done?

First round cuts being done already is no different than any other year. Chapters spend all summer pre-evaluating and ranking the PNMs based on your GPA, resume, recs & connections.

My house actually doesn’t do predetermined cuts in normal years, it’s super against our national rules. Lists are totally based on member votes after speaking with the PNM. So I’m really interested to see how it’s going to go and if we decide to continue doing it this way in the future.

How harsh do you think cuts will be? Will they be more lenient than other years?

I would say, at least for my chapter, it will be about the same as any other year. Mostly cutting grade drops & standards concerns
