Thoughts On these two

In the past 6 years, they would have been considered equal. ADPi had a bad rush this past year, and pi phi had an amazing one for PC’18 and a good one for PC’19, so pi phi def has a slight edge. Both are great houses with decent grades, involvement, and fun. I think pi phi is a bit more trendy and ADPi is a bit more earthy. Kinda like insta influencers vs. VSCO girls. Both are great houses.

I agree with the above poster, both great houses with good grades and involvement. I have multiple friends who had both of these houses on Pref and they are all great girls. Don’t put too much stock into all of the rankings on this site. You’ll get a much better feel for the houses during rush.

I would say both are on the same playing ground. Both houses are solid and have potential to become top houses

If we’re talking ranks, Upper mid

A lot of similarities. Agree with the posts above...I also had some friends pref both houses last year.

ADPi has more problems with retention, had a lower than average ‘19 pc and doesn’t really stand out on campus. Most of their actives have private instas. You would think they would be promoting what a great house and sisterhood they have but they don’t. I would say they are lower mid. Pi phi on the other hand had a good ‘19 pc and seem to have a genuine sisterhood. Their actives post a lot of cute stuff on Instagram and seem to be excited about their house and sisters. They are an upper mid house. Hope that helps!

Not bashing ADPi but they really did take a much lower pc in 2019. They do have a retention problem and had to cob. They do have some nice girls but some are awful. That’s facts. Pi Phi also had a lower pc in 2019 but they don’t seem to have as much of a retention problem. Are ADPi and Pi Phi top houses here? No, but hopefully they take better pledges than last year.
