AGD isn’t for me bc I don’t care about my grades as long as I have 3.5 Bc I’m an interior design major, but it’s undisputedly a top house. The gov of Alabama was an alpha gam for crying out loud they are a top house, even though I wouldn’t want to be an AGD. They are super involved on campus and most of them are pretty and fun, even though they have a crap ton of bible study girls. Zeta only attracts “pretty” girls who like orange spray tans and bleached hair. I’m in another new row house with the same amount of oos girls and we have a much better retention rate than zeta, so they can stop blaming their issues on far OOS girls transferring bc that’s not why so many of their members drop. AGD and KD, the two most “in-state” houses in my opinion, still have about 50% oos girls, so it’s not like the OOS girls are dropping out of those houses in large numbers like they do in Zeta. PNMs, if a house does COB, you should be suspicious of their retention and sisterhood, as well as prominence. Very few PNMs would pick zeta over any old row house, even KD, and that’s the truth.

Kay Ivey was an alpha gam at auburn but go off sis. even if she was an alum of the Alabama chapter, most Alabamians don’t really care for her.

PM hasn’t been top since their current seniors went through rush. Kappa is top with AXO, AGD, XO, and DDD, but PM and KD and Zeta don’t want to admit that.

And for tons of others it can be total mix of those and others. It all just depends on the girl. I’m a pnm and I don’t really have tops because I’m just hoping for a solid house but I know my friends have those as tops but it’s all a mix depending on who it is

Sweetie. You are a PNM. You haven’t been through rush or meet girls in every house or lived on campus. You cannot say what houses are top when you aren’t even a student yet. Judging girls off of social media and Greek rank isn’t real life and it’s not an accurate depiction of the houses at Alabama. You can’t be judging girls in a sororities when you aren’t in one yourself yet or going through rush. During rush, it’s very obvious what houses are top when you see girls crying in Rho chi group when they get cut or you get cut yourself. Do not judge women and houses you don’t know a soul in.

A Phi is only a top for about 30-50 girls going through rush. That being said, I know a girl who was crying on Chi O’s lawn on bid day bc she wanted alpha phi and not a chi o bid ...I swear to god. The girl was from bham and she was in my Rho chi group. So they are def top for some girls from NY and NJ, but not more than about 30-50 girls rushing.

I’m sure there are girls who want it more than XO or other OR houses but your story can’t possibly be true.... because..... APHI gave snaps and did COB so if someone had wanted a bid then they would have gotten one.

^A Phi actually didn’t give out snaps this last rush. This was the first year ever I think they didn’t have to do snaps.
