Connections for alpha chi

Do I need connections to get a bid to alpha chi? I know for kappa and chi o a lot of people say that you need to know someone to get a bid. (I know that you need to have great grades/letters of recc too, just wondering)

It helps, but it’s not required. PCs are so big now that even the traditionally connection-driven houses like KD, DDD and KKG take several girls that they “discover” during recruitment week. Having high grades and a lot of involvement will help put you on AXO’s radar.

Just like any house, if you are involved & have letters of rec you have a fair chance. Knowing people in any house helps because then you get to know the vibe/if you would like it
