Parking

I’m living off campus and I don’t what parking permit to get I don’t remember where all the zones are. What is a good to get that’s easy/close to everything

i think it’s too late for one, they usually sell out in like 5 minutes if that & they are around $700 for a good one lol

Do you really have to pay for a parking permit as a freshman or can you just find a spot somewhere

U need to pay I tried not getting one and had a ticket almost everyday until I got 1 which ended being almost as much as just buying 1

not if u live in the dorms, when i lived in tut u could park in the tut lot (which is now the deck) but if you live in pres or something you’ll have an area to park too for your dorm, other than that you can’t park anywhere on campus without a pass unless it’s like a 1 hour parking (which they are VERY strict on, i got like 6 tickets last year) i just recommend walking or getting your friends to pick you up & drop you off, that’s what i do.
