This is the saddest rush I have ever heard of. Y’all need to take a gap year. Don’t waste your freshman year, which is the best year, on this virtual rush, no real bid day and no swaps, parties. It’s not worth it.

Agree especially if you are paying dues yourself. It is very $$ and you will be getting very little in return. The houses want you to rush because they need your $$. It is true that next year would be more competitive if a lot of people chose to wait so need think about that as well. It is a tough situation. Think it through.

What I don’t get is if everything is virtual why can’t pnms rush from home and come for regular move in? Like I get it but at the same time why move in so early just to sit and rush alone in a dorm room

I’m thinking it’s because we need spaced out move in times anyways and this was a good way to naturally make that happen. And honestly moving in early is probably better bc we will have time to get acclimated to our new environment before classes start.
