DZ- ranked low tier

I’m a pnm and thought they looked really cute on social media and I’m from a state where theyre top so I’m wondering the same thing? are there actual problems with the house or is it just not as good because all the other houses at bama are so much stronger

I actually really like DZ's instagram and no, I'm not a DZ. Their new house is beautiful and their new PCs are improving as well. I just think DZ is not a house people are excited about. Their grades are mediocre and I don't think DZ's involvement is as good as other NR houses. Everyone I know who pledged DZ wanted another house on pref. When going through rush, I thought the girls were awkward and a little off.

I loved DZ and the girls who went DZ last year had an amazing time. I just think they don’t get much hype since they are low key. Imo, ZTA AOPi, pi phi, Adpi and DZ are my fav NR houses.

Their house is brand new, they were on of the last houses to get a new house so that led to them getting weaker PCs than other NR houses up until this year honestly. Their grades are almost always towards the bottom, even though on Panhell’s website it says they recommend having a 3.4. As other posters said, there is not a lot of excitement going back there. I think some girls really learn to love it and make friends within their PC, but it’s not a house a lot of people initially want. I’ve also heard they have a terrible sisterhood from some of my friends and that the PCs are divisive and their exec is mean. I’m not a DZ so I don’t know any of this for fact this is just what I’ve heard.

Probably because they don't live on Greek Rank like some of the other sororities and/or their alumni don't live on Greek Rank.

A lot of girls in my Rho chi group were trying to get rid of DZ all week. I think the main thing with DZ is that there is such a mixed bag of girls: some are super pretty and cool, some are really weird.

can dz stop bumping this thread so they can say how they aren't bottom tier in the responses and downvote anyone who explains why they are?

They're a house with a lot of divisions and nationally they're referred to as the disease. That scares some girls away. But they do have a new house.

I think they just stay lowkey, you don’t really hear much about them which can be good or bad it just depends but the girls I’ve met in DZ seem pretty chill and laid back
