honest opinions on chi o
by: pnmwhat do y’all honestly think of chi o? are they nice? are they actually weird horse girls? are they very school oriented?

I think Chi O gets great girls. Their members are involved on many areas of campus, they have great grades, and they’re pretty social. However, these are only the girls you see. Chi O also takes girls with top grades that are a little bit what some may consider “odd” - I would say this is a silent majority of their members.
Also, I have some friends in Chi O, but a lot of other Chi Os I have met are really mean. They’re mean to each other, divisive PCs, and they’re mean to other sororities.

not saying they don’t receive some good members, but I really don’t understand the hype if I’m being honest. I feel like they just kind of fade into the background especially compared to other houses. I do agree they are the most diverse/have the most partiers of old town, but as previously mentioned, they do have some girls that may be seen as “odd” and I don’t know if their pledge class mixes well as a whole.

I know of at least 4 girls in that house from my hometown who got sent to chi o Standerds for BULLYING their pledge class sisters. I prefed chi o and another house, and I’m so incredibly glad I picked a different house bc one of my friends in chi o was legitimately bullied, and we are in COLLEGE. Chi o is a great house and I have several friends in it who love it, but there is definitely a lot of in-house conflict and sisterhood issues they need to resolve.

Okay I went XO last year as a freshman and I don’t know what any of you are talking about as far these rumors about a bad sisterhood. Sure, in a large group of any kind, someone will feel left out or cause drama. I came in wanting XO because I had older friends from my home town (Alabama),I also tried to have an open mind, but I just still loved them best and was really really worried I would not end up with a bid because they were very in demand last year from everyone. I made a ton of new friends in the pledge class, the older girls did a great job of helping us all bond together pre swaps and game day date set ups. I love them all so much but I know we are not the only ones with a sisterhood like that. It’s been a year full of trips to celebrate birthdays, Mardi Gras, debutante stuff all over the state and beyond. Omg so.much.fun. Chiomerica. I have friends from near &far OOS in there too. I’m not the best student - came in with 3.5 from my high school- but I ended up making higher grades than that last year. I’ve got a 3.8 right now. They help me be the best version of myself & I like the high standards. Normally I would scroll on by but you’ve got to be kidding me. There is a group known for drama but not us.

They are good, just kind of awkward girls
That have good grades. They do not get any in state top exclusive girls like KD and Kappa.
They honestly get more Mississippi girls and that’s what they have become. If you hang out with them more than an hour you will realize you may not have much fun in this house.

XO is better than Tri Delt in my opinion. Tri Delt is overhyped on this site way too much (and also pay to delete any negative posts about them)
