Alpha Gam vibe?
by: quick questionWhats alpha gam's general vibe? I want to be in a sisterhood of sweet girls that are not that big of party animals but still have a fun time and I've heard that alpha gam is like that. Would y'all say this is true?

Alpha gam and alpha chi are generally pretty nice and don’t go out a lot but do every now and then. I’d agree w the above comment if you’re looking for a new row option I’d say dg and aopi (although they are about half introverted girls and half party girls where the other three houses are mostly non partiers)

I know a ton of alpha gams that go hard af. They def don’t party as much as kappa or KD, but like the whole “sweet, southern” girl thing AGD has is the image they want you to see. They def have some intense party girls from bham, Tuscaloosa, and Montgomery, but their members don’t advertise to the world that they are drunk out of their minds every weekend. They have super strict social media rules, so people just don’t see them going hard like other sororities. I’m from ttown, and some of the AGD Tuscaloosa girls are definitely not so holy as they want you to believe.

yeah but i can tell u they don’t like having to sneak around and are judged by the rest of their sorority who doesn’t go hard lol

^those girls that go hard also don’t want a bad rep either. They want leadership positions and internships and grad school, so they aren’t posting their craziest moments just so they can show some kappas and XOs they are having a good time. Same thing with AXO. There’s a difference in between having fun and getting blackout drunk, and then putting that stuff out there for everyone to see. At least AGD and AXO have class and fun.

AGD is def the house for you, but keep an open mind and look into new row houses like ADPi, AOPI, and DG. Stay away from ZTA, A Phi, Kappa, PM, and KD. You need a great gpa and resume to get in though. Most girls in that house had connections to get in, but there are always girls who are hidden gems going into rush that AGD picks up.

their alums wish they were but they aren’t as holy as you think...went to first circle ball with them and damn some of their seniors were drinking wine like Jesus made it himself
