The Truth of Old Row
by: yesTruthfully (and of course I’m going to get downvoted or have a lot of angry actives come at me but I’m being honest based on what I see during homecoming, who I see out, and popularity to some degree) AGD, KD, Kappa, and XO are pretty much irrelevant after rush. AXO, Tri Delt, and Phi Mu are the most talked about (across the whole campus!!!) of old row and that’s just a fact. Now am I saying these houses are better than the first four I previously mentioned? Absolutely not. In my opinion, Phi Mu and KD are the weakest of old row. Phi Mu has lost the “looks” factor that they were once known for and have a weaker GPA compared to some of the other Old Row houses. KD just takes pnms from a certain area so they lose the diversity factor and also give snap bids.

What you said makes no sense. XO and AGD are two of the most involved houses on campus in everything from politics, organizations, honor societies and their philanthropies. They are both always in the top three for grades and have a full slate of swaps too. Kappa is a really fun, chill house that has a large presence on campus. They may not be quite as involved as XO and AGD, but they are still way more involved than KD. I also see Kappas out socially and hanging with a variety of fraternities. If any houses are irrelevant after rush, it’s Phi Mu and KD.

AGD did not have a full slate of swaps. I had an AGD roommate (each of my three roommates and I were in different houses) and my house (Old row), my roommates house (zeta), and my other roommates house (pi phi) each had more swaps than AGD. 😂 Like lets be honest no frats want to party with AGD and AXO I’m sorry. Great grades, great involvement, and definitely great houses here but let’s not act like they succeed in every area. Agreeing with posts above, KD PM and XO are the most irrelevant of Old Row.

AXO is socially irrelevant. They never go out, so who are these people that are talking about them all over campus? Phi Mu is a joke now. Their last two to three pledge classes have sucked and they’re way too high maintenance for most of the fraternities to want to hang with.
