“The machine” would be the main organizers for HC queen, SGA president and some key senate spots, and helps arrange swaps. It works most of the time, but there have been several non machine candidates that have won. In the end, the student body will win out if they truly care about a different candidate. If the student body is apathetic, they get who they get.
