Ok I’m going to be honest with y’all. I really don’t understand why some people on here act like KD is such a highly desired house. For mountain brook and other districts like that? Sure. But for out of state and most other in-state girls absolutely not. KD will make big cuts first round based on grades and connections. After that though when it comes to competing with many other houses across the row (some could argue these houses include AXO, AGD, Tri Delt, XO, Kappa, Phi Mu, and maybe even Zeta based off of the type of oos pnm/in-state pnm we are looking at), KD will have many open filler spots. Kappa is a similar house and is becoming more desirable in my opinion. If you have good grades/from a southern state and KD keeps you after IWT’s, then you’ll be able to keep them the rest of the way through rush.

well tbh, KD is very popular in Georgia and Florida. OOS pnms coming from those states will want KD, especially if they’re legacies. my sister is a KD at a Florida school so i was really interested in KD before rush. because my sister was an active at a strong chapter, they rushed me pretty hard and i did like them! I kept them until prefs, but went elsewhere bc ultimately i didn’t think i’d fit in. i still talk to the girls who rushed me though, so don’t believe that they’re all snobby and stuck up.
