what’s the point

What’s the point in rushing if it’s being discussed that those who don’t live in house can’t go inside the house? Are dues going to be just as expensive as they normally are paying for in house food and being able to be inside the house? If that’s going to happen then there’s little to no chance on swaps or date parties right? I don’t see a point in following through with rush now

I’ve been wondering the same thing I don’t want to waste money not being able to enjoy everything you’re supposed to do your first year in Greek life

Pnms you should also consider that even if rush/ greek life looks different this year you’ll still get to bond with your PC and if you rush sophomore year you may find it harder to make friends/ fit in. Not saying it’s impossible to rush sophomore year and have a good experience but there’s already 1800 pnms registered for rush and you’ll be missing out on meeting all of them

I don’t pay for friendships I pay for socials and a house I should be able to use.

Girl I’m in a chapter and I thought it was an issue when people told us we “paid for our friends”? For real I’ve paid for experiences in a house and dancing, food, booze at formals, swaps, and socials, not for people. And they’re going to charge us full amounts if we don’t even go on campus this semester?

It may not be ideal but I’m still so excited for the experience we will still get so I guess it depends on your outlook about it
