old row and new row have both fluctuated a lot lately. DKE, SAE and KA used to be the undisputed top 3, but SAE and KA both had a solid run of marginal to mediocre pledge classes for a while, and then it just became DKE at the undisputed number 1. DKE blowing it this year might be really telling for old row's dominance though. Phi Gam, EN and especially Phi Delt have all been pretty marginal for a while, and while Phi Delt and EN both turned it around some lately along with SAE and KA, old row isn't maintaining dominance continuously. New row houses like OX, DX, Pi Kapp, SX and Pike have been long term players, and continously compete with old row. At the moment, OX, DX and Pi Kapp are all competing pretty solidly, and a few years ago it was OX, Pike, Beta and SX more so. Overall though, while both groups are having consistency issues, new row is competing with old row more than ever.
