Following actives desperate or ok ?

I’ve seen some people saying following actives as a pnm is desperate and awkward and some saying it’s fine. Is it ok to follow them first?

It’s never frowned upon if a pnm decides to follow an active first. If you are interested in a certain house it might put you on their radar.
