Sorority Standards??
by: standards? What sorority has the strictest standards committee? Which is the most lax? What kinds of things will get you in trouble with standards?

Based on what Iāve heard from roommates/friends Iāve heard Tri Delt in particular is pretty strict on certain things (not trying to hate just answering the question). Their instagrams are heavily looked at (type of clothing they are wearing > my roommate got in trouble for posting a picture in a crop top) by their exec team and acting overly drunk at date parties/swaps will get you called to standards (my roommate received at least 2-3 emails basically saying hey youāre being called to standards be here on this day at this time for your meeting).
I havenāt heard of other houses being overly strict besides AGD (but I think thatās to be expected). They pay close attention to how their members behave at swaps and date parties (again according to friends I have in the house)
Obviously two great houses here. In no way am I trying to hate on them, but these are the ones Iāve heard specific stories about

aphi is obvi pretty chill about their girls lol.
other than that from what ive seen gphi is pretty lax . other than maybe their instas all their other socials are totally messy and look like no ones looking at them.
but im active so i could be completely wrong thats just what it looks like. its really hard to tell whos the most/least strict because you only know how strict your own is and maybe a few of your friends houses

As a pnm I think you can take an educated guess and can gauge that APhi isnāt strict at all. Probably part of the reason most of their swaps got cancelled by Panhellenic this past fall.
Regarding houses that are strict, the only time Iāve heard of someone going to standards was when one of my friends who is a Phi Mu talked to me about her situation while at a house party one night. I donāt really know if they are strict or not but thatās the only time Iāve heard of someone being called to standards. I get the general sense that it doesnāt happen too often.

they were just asking a question, no need to be rude. maybe they donāt want to be in a house that wonāt let them have fun.
