commenting on actives’ posts
by: PNM :)Question: What does it look like when you see pnms commenting on actives posts? Especially if you’re interested in that pnm and see them commenting on an active in another house’s post? I follow a lot of different actives from ALL of the sororities and sometimes I come across posts of 3-5 pnms commenting on a certain active’s post. Does it look bad to other houses? Or does that mean that the particular pnm commenting already “low key” knows they will be in that house?

If I see a pnm comment on an active’s post, I just assume they either have met the active before or they are interested in that particular house. For certain pnms I don’t think anything of it, but if it gets to the point where it has become obvious which house you are aiming for, then obviously we are going to be looking more heavily at other pnms that we think we have a better chance of getting. For example, there was a certain pnm that I had an in-person conversation with from my hometown, very well-rounded and I absolutely loved her. However, every time I scroll through instagram I see her commenting on A LOT of zetas’ posts. So, obviously I’m not going to put much effort into staying in contact with her because I have a feeling I already know where she wants to end up. Am I saying she will end up there? No. Could she still end up in my house? Absolutely. My point is though, it’s definitely noticeable when a pnm comments on actives posts and I do think that most actives wouldn’t agree with it/consider it a pnm limiting their options. Just my opinion. Hope this helps :)

I only notice if a pnm ONLY comments on actives posts if they're in certain houses (a lot of pnms only comment on zeta, aphi, phi mu, pi phi, tri delt, gphi, or achi posts [or whatever sorority these are just the most popular ones this happens with])...I think if you comment on girls posts from every house it doesn't matter and I actually regard you higher bc it just tells me that you're a nice person lmao
