Phi Mu is still a great house here. In my opinion they used to be a lot more popular than they are now. AXO, Alpha Gam, Tri Delt, and even KD ranked higher on the greek grade report. So they aren’t considered “top” in grades and after looking at the past two PC’s I think Zeta has taken over as the looks house. Phi Mu lost a lot of “top” pnms who were looking for a grade/involvement focused house to houses like AXO and AGD and then some “top” OOS pnms who were looking for more the looks focused house chose Zeta over Phi Mu. In no way am I trying to say Phi Mu isn’t a great house here or that any of these houses are better options. I’m just describing the general trend that was seen during rush last year.

It’s okay to say that Phi Mu is not a top house anymore. Y’all are hilarious on here saying “I’m not trying to say Phi Mu isn’t great anymore...”
They aren’t as great anymore and it’s okay to say it.

Phi Mu is still a good house, but not top (as the other responses have claimed as well). As mentioned in a previous thread I think they are on the same level/tier as KD, Kappa, and Zeta now (with AXO, AGD, XO, and Tri Delt) as your top houses based on grades and pnm desirability.

You know that award means nothing right? Top houses are based on desirability during rush. Not as many girls want Phi Mu as want some other houses. The glory days of the “mean girl” sorority with the big white house and everything pink are over. Girls want authentic houses now. Real friends. Not judgmental ones that are just social climbers. They want to join a sorority where they can walk in the house with no makeup on and just be themselves. Phi Mu isn’t like that. They’re way too high maintenance.

Bump for this comment. I’m pretty sure the committee that chose the house to receive that award were a bunch of Phi Mu alumni. I’m not even trying to hate on them, but everyone knows that award means absolutely nothing. The simple fact is, Phi Mu is not as good as they used to be. Other houses are becoming more desirable and I think we can all agree on that (besides Phi Mus obviously)

Um....? Let me add that AGD, AXO, XO, DG, Tri Delt, AOPi, and KD all had higher grades than Phi Mu this past fall. Not just AXO, AGD, and KD. 🙄
